Awards 2022

The presentation of the LawNet Awards 2022 will take place on 1st July during the conference dinner at Celtic Manor Resort, Newport. Approximately 240 delegates are set to attend, including senior management from all LawNet firms and key business partners and sponsors. During the evening the award winners will be announced and invited on stage to collect their trophy.

Our award categories for this year are:

  • Excellence in Client Care
    We know that LawNet firms are consistently outperforming the competition in this area and this award will celebrate your hard work and commitment in delivering excellence in client care. The winner of this award will demonstrate how their initiative(s) have improved the experience for their firm’s clients with positive outcomes for the firm.
  • Learning & Development Initiative
    Awarded to a firm that invests effectively in the development of their people through learning and development initiatives. This could be one-off projects in key areas through to firm-wide Learning & Development initiatives.
  • Sustainability Excellence
    The environment and the world we live in is becoming a global issue that all of us need to focus on. The winners of this category will show evidence of a commitment to develop a strong ESG strategy and signs of the firm making a difference.
  • Trainee of the Year
    This category allows firms to nominate exceptional trainees who are just starting out in their careers.
  • Rising Star (under 35yr)
    Firms can nominate any employee who, after being employed for a number of years, is considered to be someone who will make an outstanding contribution to the firm as a lawyer, partner, manager or leader in the future (fee-earning or business support role).
  • Team of the Year (Business Law)
    This category allows firms to nominate a business law team which has delivered an exceptional performance during the past 12-18 months.
  • Team of the Year (Individual Law)
    This category allows firms to nominate an Individual / Personal law team which has delivered an exceptional performance during the past 12-18 months.
  • Team of the Year (Business Support)
    This category allows firms to nominate a Business Support team which has delivered an exceptional performance during the past 12-18 months.
  • Law Firm of the Year (<6m t/o)
    Awarded to a firm of less than £6m turnover - demonstrating overall excellence & significant progress over the last 12-18 months against a wider business strategy.
  • Law Firm of the Year (>6m t/o)
    Awarded to a firm of more than £6m turnover - demonstrating overall excellence & significant progress over the last 12-18 months against a wider business strategy.
