Dev Diary #2: Diving Into Dashboards
Welcome back to our LawNetConnect Dev Diary, a series where we share a behind-the-scenes look at how our new digital Member Centre is coming together.
In this edition, we're diving into one of the most exciting features: the personalised dashboards.
A Dashboard Designed Just for You
We know that no two users are the same. Whether you're in a leadership role, a fee earner, or part of the business support team, the information you need will be different. That’s why dashboards in LawNetConnect are tailored to each member’s role, preferences, and specialisms.
Once you’ve completed the onboarding process (which we explored in our first post), your dashboard becomes your personal hub, surfacing the most relevant updates, events, and resources at a glance.
What You'll See
Here’s a quick peek at what you can expect from your personalised dashboard:
- Ask the Network: View the latest questions from your groups, along with quick access to post, respond, or browse previous discussions.
- Events & Learning: See what’s coming up that matches your interests and set preferences to be notified when new events are published.
- Resource Highlights: Instantly access new articles, case studies, and documents tagged to your selected business and legal areas.
- Updates & Announcements: Stay in the loop with what's happening across the network, curated specifically for your role and areas of practice.
Please note: the visuals shown here are early concept designs and may evolve as development continues. While they offer a good sense of the direction we’re heading in, some elements may change as we refine the user experience and respond to feedback.
The Benefit
These dashboards are all about serving you dynamic, relevant content and puts everything you need front and centre.
Whether you’re looking to answer a question, register for a learning session, or read up on a new case study, your dashboard is your starting point for staying connected and getting the most from the LawNet network.
Coming Up Next...
In our next post, we’ll take a look at the redesigned Resource Centre and how it’s being built to become your go-to knowledge hub.
