Godloves achieves LawNet membership
Yorkshire firm Godloves Solicitors has been admitted as a member of LawNet, the leading law firm network.
The firm says membership will support its commitment to quality, as well as its ambitions for future growth.
Godloves has four offices across Leeds, employing more than 70 fee earners and staff, with a range of specialist departments providing legal services to a private and corporate customer base across Yorkshire.
The LawNet network was established in 1989 to enable a collaborative, non-competing national network where independent law firms could access big firm resources and benefit from collective purchasing, shared knowledge, best practice and expertise. Each firm has an exclusive geographical operating area to enable collaboration and all member firms are obliged to achieve and maintain the LawNet ISO9001:2008 standard.
Said managing partner Paul Carvis: “We have a strong commitment to quality in the firm but were keen to secure ISO 9001 quality accreditation. We can achieve this in a supported way through the LawNet quality audit and management system and it means we benefit from an established model."
“We believe also that there will be big benefits for us as a regional law firm being part of the national network of LawNet, where we can share ideas with similar firms elsewhere.”
He added: “We are looking forward to being active members."
Welcoming the firm, John Thomas, LawNet’s chief executive said: “There are only a limited number of firms that are eligible for membership of LawNet and one of attributes we demand is a commitment to maintaining a recognised professional quality standard, and we’re very pleased to see the membership extended throughout Yorkshire with Godloves.”
